Clear privacy, purposeful data, and owner control.
1. Scope
This policy explains how Skado handles information when you visit skado.com, receive a preview, claim or manage a website, submit a form, or use our mobile apps.
2. Information we process
We may process account and organization data, public and owner-confirmed business facts, website content and assets, lead and contact data, tokenized billing data, technical information, usage, consent records, and audit events.
3. How we use information
We use information to generate private previews, verify ownership, provide and secure the service, publish sites, deliver leads, process subscriptions, measure performance, provide support, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
4. Public data and provenance
Business information may come from public sources, authorized partners, or the owner. We retain source information and request confirmation for sensitive facts. A preview is not made public without verification and approval.
5. Payments
Payments are collected through Stripe-hosted interfaces. Skado does not store full card numbers or CVVs. We may retain tokenized identifiers, card brand, last four digits, and transaction status where appropriate.
6. Sharing
We share information only with service providers operating the platform, partners with delegated authorization, payment processors, customer-configured recipients, and authorities where legally required. We do not sell personal information or share contact data for third-party behavioral advertising.
7. Artificial intelligence
Customer content, leads, and personal data are not used to train general-purpose models. AI-assisted features receive only necessary context, produce proposals subject to validation, and cannot independently publish, charge, or change ownership.
8. Retention and deletion
Retention depends on data class, jurisdiction, plan, and financial requirements. Unclaimed previews expire; leads and analytics follow customer settings; financial records follow applicable accounting policy. You can request export or account closure from the portal.
9. Security
We use access controls, encryption, organization isolation, audit trails, immutable releases, and hosted payment providers. No system is perfectly secure; we investigate and provide notices as required by law.
10. Your choices
You can correct business facts, manage consent, export content, request deletion of eligible information, and close an account from the portal. Records under mandatory retention are restricted rather than improperly erased.
11. Contact and changes
Contact Skado through Support in the portal. We will post material changes on this page and provide a new effective date.
